Using Profile Reader

Selecting Profiles or Permission Sets

1. Open TurboKit and select "Profile Reader"
2. Choose the mode: Profile, Permission Set, or User Summary
3. Select the profiles or permission sets you want to compare
4. Choose the view type (System Permissions, Object Permissions, etc.)

Viewing Permissions

The Profile Reader displays permissions in a tabular format, making it easy to compare settings across profiles:

• System Permissions: Shows which profiles have specific system permissions
• Object Permissions: Displays Read, Create, Edit, Delete, View All, and Modify All permissions for each object
• Field-Level Security: Shows field-level access (Read, Edit) for each field
• Layout Assignments: Displays page layout assignments for different record types

Filtering and Searching

• Use the search functionality to find specific permissions
• Filter the view to focus on specific profiles or permission sets
• Export the results for further analysis

Best Practices
